I have some garden pictures for you. I love gardening. Remember when we lived in PG and we had a huge garden of peas? We had to pick them all and them shell them all and Mom would blanch them and freeze them in little bags. Well, I have planted a garden every year since we bought our first house. Last year and this year it has finally produced somethings.

But these are pictures of my front flower garden and the new butterfly/drought tolerant garden I'm slowly designing and planting.

Wow Martissa, I didn't know you had a green thumb!!! Nice garden. I really like all of it. Congratulations and thank you for sharing one of your talents on the blog.

We can just call her TM (Talented Martissa) from now on. ;) I remember working and picking all the peas, but I remember eating more of them than picking them and giving them to Mom. Fresh picked Peas are good.

Lewis read this post and said he doesn't remember peas at all....he remembers picking strawberries and eating more than the one's he gave to your Mom to make jam.

Martissa - the flowers are gorgeous. I love your flagstone path in your butterfly garden. Nice job! How is Grace's corn doing? did the tomatoes recover from the hail storm? Did Vallen win the largest cauliflower contest?

I remember peas! My boss had Mialee and Nathan over twice this summer to pick her peas and carrots. They were delicious! Haven't had fresh picked peas like that since PG.

We have started a landscaping project, too. We are redoing the front and adding stuff to the back. I hope it will turn out as nicely as yours is.

I don't remember peas, but I do remember strawberries and skunks in the strawberry patch.
