I'm there!

So I purchased my plane ticket today, so I am definitely going to the family reunion! I am so excited! I haven't been to one in awhile and the location and everything is so exciting and I am super excited to see all of you! I haven't seen some of you lovely family members in awhile! And...I have never met Mrs. Jen Whelchel. =) So this should be fun!

Continuous From my Last Post....

.... I just wanted to say," Who ever plays tennis in our family, come down here right now. (I am mostly talking to Thomas)!! I just really really want to verse an athletic person at tennis! Besides my dad, or my brother.

Tennis Comp.

Tomorrow, Saturday April 25,2009, I am going to a tennis competition! Yeah! I hope I do well, and not get too freaked out and under pressure. I have been playing tennis for about one year now, and I am really enjoying it. Time to time, my dad and I go to the park at play at the tennis courts. Anyone else in our family that plays tennis?

About Paisley...

Yesterday it was finally time to start joining the yard care club. We picked up all the sticks and branches that had fallen off our trees, we picked up the annoying little balls that grow on our tree and then fall on our grass, Jason mowed until the mower ran out of gas and we sprayed some weeds. Paisley during all of this was a good helper when she needed to be a good player when there wasn't anything for her to do. She also got to have a fudge-sicle for being such a great helper which she proceeded to eat and wear.

Paisley is a good mommy. Just as she has learned that sometimes a time out is necessary to calm down or to learn a lesson she also is teaching her babies that they must go to time out to learn something. I don't know what this baby did, but she needed a time out and then Paisley lovingly picked her up to comfort her and remind her that she still loves her. (p.s. Paisley picked out her not matching outfit, not me!)

Yesterday we read a book about Clifford and spring cleaning. In the book it talks about planting a garden. Jason asked Paisley "what do we have in our garden?" To which she responded without any hesitation "Weeds!" Thanks a lot Paisley. We'll get to hoeing out the weeds immediately.

Easter Party

This past weekend we had the annual work Easter party. Paisley was at the top of her game collecting a huge basket full of goodies. She is in the 0-3 year old group, so being the big fish in a little pond suited her well. We now have so many treats that we may text the Easter bunny to skip our house this year.

Snowy Gardens

Well, our spring break began two days early because of our blizzard. I liked Stef's photo's of the snow. Ours looked like that too! We have been getting snow every other day now. It is our own fault! Our stake had a fast for moisture because Denver is 50+ inches below the amount we usually get during the winter for summer water.

Stef, your garden may be fine depending on what you planted. Spring garden vegetables such as spinach and peas are happier if snowed upon. However, if you planted wimpy summer vegies like tomatoes, they may not survive. We'll see soon! I hope my garden is content under its blanket of white.
