President Faust passed away in his sleep this morning!
Heard this first thing this morning. There was a buzz at work. Some people even cried. So very wierd to see the impact in an LDS community. Also an opportunity to talk with the kids about how a new apostle is called and succession in the church.

Yes, a friend of Rebecca's who lives in Salt Lake called her and told her. Sad for us, but probably not for him. I imagine that President Hinckly is wondering, "why him and not me". Anyway, it will be interesting to see who is called to replace him. You be sure to keep us posted as that kind of news isn't front page in California.
Yeah, that was sad. iheard about that!
