It is/was the big weekend, but I was finally able to surprise Jen and picked up the ring early and asked her to marry me when we were at on the Temple Grounds last night. So we are officially engaged. YEAH!! Oh, she said yes. ;)
I know that there are few broken hearts on the East coast but they can't have her because she is mine. ;) When Jen is over here tonight I will ask her to post what she thought about it and then you can have both perspectives.
As for me, even knowing she would say yes I still got a little nervous right before getting down on one knee.
I'm thinking that we probably won't do that. Sorry. We weren't here long enough this evening for Jen to do any blogging so maybe tomorrow she can tell what she thought of the proposal.

Congrats, Layne!!! I am certain there are hearts breaking all over the east coast, so congratulations to Jen, too!
