So Layne, what will your ring look like? When Tracy and I got married, she bought me a very nice ring. It had a small diamond set in white gold, all set in brushed yellow gold, narrower at the back (5mm) than at the top (7mm). Well, it used to give me a rash from water/sweat/moisture, so I never wore it at night or when I was around water. It 'disappeared' one day along with some other stuff from a place I was staying about 13 years ago. I eventually replaced it - with a 2mm thin band of cheap gold from Fingerhut that costs $29.00. The next thing down from this ring would be a $5.00 CTR ring that turns fingers green. :) It's comfortable, I don't have to take it off, it doesn't set off the metal detector alarms at the airport, and nobody wants to steal it!
