This upcoming weekend is filled with Service Projects and State Conference. So now you know what is going on back East.

Hearing from Layne
I believe a post earlier was wondering what I was up to... I must say that I have made a few comments know and then, it isn't like I haven't done anything like Martissa ;). Lets see, last Saturday was a YSA (yes I know I am not 18 to 31) activity and it was a lot of fun. It was a sports day for an 8 Stake region. We played Croquet, Ultimate frisbee, and Volleyball. My ankles are still letting me have it for playing volleyball on pot hole filled lawns, oh well it was fun. Later that night a few people came over to watch movies which was also fun. We started off with a comedy, Second Hand Lions, and then moved into an action with Bourne Identity.

That sounds like fun! Did you serve any snacks with your movies? I have some recipes for some easy but yummy desserts!
It does sound like fun and I liked your choice in flicks too. Are you having a visiting general authority? If so who and tell us all about any new revelation.
Yeah, we heard from Layne! Two fun weekends in a row, good job!
I had available Microwavable popcorn, Junior Mints, and Good and Plenty and one other kind of candy. A couple of the girls brought Grapes, Cherries, and chocolate covered raisens. I also had ice cream and rootbeer available to anyone who wanted a rootbeer float. Unfortunetly only the candy of which I can not remember the name got eaten. So hopefully they will be back tonight and will eat some of the stuff they didn't eat last Saturday.
