We finally unpacked all the boxes for the kitchen! The problem with that was they were covering up our banister that is way too wide for a toddler. Paisley loved to walk up to it and fit her whole body through with no problem. So now that the boxes are gone we have shrink wrapped the banister until we can get a new one in there. Hopefully this won't be like this for very long because I don't want anyone to come over and see it like this.

What a totally inexpensive and ingenious way to solve a problem!! Heck, unless you are rolling in dough I would leave the shrink wrap up. It looks fine to me and does the job you wanted it to do. Cool idea!!!!
I agree! What a great idea for keeping Paisley safe. I don't think it looks that bad, and anyone coming over with children will appreciate it, not be critical of it. Way to go!! Looks like you found a place for your microwave cart - it looks very nice there.
