So I come home after the fireside and my two roommates are there. I havent really talked with them much so I started too. I go change for bed and guess what!?!?! they start cleaning!!! now if you have talked with me before, you would know that my roommates are pretty messy...but they cleaned! talk about a tender mercy of the Lord. I not only talked with them and joked around but they really cleaned!! The church is true, no doubt about it. =D and...my apartment is lemony fresh!! Im not talking just dishes cleaning either, they mopped and washed down the stove and swept under couches (i dont even think you have to do that for room check lol) a tender mercy and an answer to prayers indeed. =)
I love you all. Thanks for your prayers on my behalf of me living on my own. =) Heavenly Father is watching out for me. I love you all, and hey, I can do this. Dont worry mom and dad. =P
LOVE YA!!!
(YAY FOR CLEAN APARTMENTS AND LEMONY-FRESHNESS!!!)

So glad for you Lauren. Hope the apartment life and roommate living is a good experience for you!
Having roommates can be a tough thing. (I know - I had roommates for 12 years before I found Layne.) My only advice is to stay humble and always give them the benefit of the doubt. Also, pick your battles or even better choose not to battle.
My sister once told me that all roommate bonding happens after 10PM. I found that to be pretty true. I think if I would have stayed up a little later during college I might have been better friends with my roommates. I like to sleep and I was usually in bed when my roommates were becoming friends. My advice is become friends with them if you can.
It is nice to have a clean clean house. Maybe I can have your roommates talk to mine. (Just kidding - Layne keeps on surprising me with more and more work and sacrifice that he does for me.)
