Happy birthday! Is she our only April birthday? I guess I could get out my handy dandy Whelchel calendar and check for myself..... Hope you have a happy day!

Garrett is also an April birthday. I think it is number 12 for him!

You are right Stefanie, on both counts. Jen's birthday is April 3 and Garrett's is April 13. We wish both of them a very happy day. A special thing for Garrett is that he will be twelve on his birthday, which is Sunday, so he will be ordained a Deacon on his birthday. Very cool!! Thanks, Lewis, for starting Jen's birthday celebration a few days early so we can all really enjoy it!

I have a reminder set in my Blackberry two or three days ahead of the actual date, but I forgot to put the date in the description that pops up when the alarm goes off, so usually I'm ahead of the game and don't even know it.

Happy Birthday, Layne!

Thanks for the early birthday posts. Layne and I are still trying to decide what to do for my actual birthday. But whatever it is I am sure it will be fun. Any great ideas?

Right now we are thinking of borrowing someones grill and porch so Layne can grill some steak for me. Yummy!

For your birthday, I think you should go to the National Museum and look at John Singer Sargent paintings and the Hope Diamond. Maybe Layne can get you one!

Also, the Washington Nationals opened their new ballpark this past Sunday. You could take in a game in one of the luxury suites. They are leading the National League East with a record of 2-0 so far. You'll be in for a great game. My favorite player on their team is a guy named Lastings Milledge. He is the youngest of 8 or 9 children, and his father picked his name by telling his wife very emphatically that it would be their last child. He's batting .250 with 2 RBI's.
