Time to Grow

(This is how we found Paisley after a little while of playing by herself in the dirt.)

Today was gardening day for us. All of our friends have started their gardens and so we decided to start one also (even though Jason nor I know what we are doing). We got some new gardening gloves, including Paisley. She enjoys to dig in the dirt along with us. Jason started clearing out the dirt where our garden will be. We are planning on growing (hopefully they are also planning to grow) radishes, peas, onions, and tomatoes. We bought tomato starters to live inside with us until the end of april. The other plants in the starter boxes are different kinds of flowers I planted. I thought we would try and start them inside also. When they are ready to be transplanted we will spread them throughout the front and backyard. This will be a fun adventure and if it works we will be having some yummy salsa in a few weeks!

Good job with the garden!! I'm sure your work will pay great dividends over the course of thes summer. Dad and I bought a tomato plant and a cilantro plant today. They will live inside with us until it is warmer here. We are looking forward to salsa from your garden.

Yippee! I love gardening!! Layne and I started our garden a little over a week ago. We are growing cherry tomatoes, normal tomatoes, lettuce green beans, broccoli, squash and artichokes. We don't have a yard so my garden experiments are quite interesting. Everything gets planted in planter boxes. At the moment they are all starters inside. But once it warms up a little more - let the experiment begin. I wish you much success in your gardening adventure.
