There are not words to express how grateful I am to you for your outpouring of love for me. Your thoughtfulness and kindness are overwhelming to me. The birthday video was wonderful! Grace's "dog jaw" is a riot! Thanks to all of you girls who did such a great job of planning a weekend that was so much fun. I have been inspired to start making cards, thanks to your creativity and making the supplies available. "Wicked" was such a good show - I'm so glad we went. Our lunch at Johnny Carino's was delicious and a real treat for me since dad doesn't care for Italian food. The chicken salad sandwiches were the best and so was the chicken tortilla soup!
Lewis, thanks for leaving your family at such a busy time to come and join us for lunch. Tracy, Caitlin, and Lauren, thank you for leaving in the middle of a major undetaking to spend time with me. Layne, thanks for your contribution to the birthday video and the tour of your home.
You are all wonderful, amazing people and I feel so honored to be your mother. I know each of you made a sacrifice to be here - I appreciate that sacrifice - I appreciate the husbands who made it possible for you to leave your home and children to be here.
