I LOVE this video! It brought a tear seeing Haystack rock and remembering all our times there. Thank you Mom and Dad for giving us experiences like that. I am so glad you got to go Stef!
I hope it is okay that I comment on the Whelchel's World. I just thought that was a great video, I just love those kinds of videos b/c you get to see the whole trip, or most of it in under 10 mins. Not having to pass around pictures to everyone. It was so fun. Nice job on the opening and closing too, you guys are pros.
Loved the video too, looks like a culinary tour of Oregon. So...how "was" the food? Lol. Loved the different pics of Haystack Rock at the different times of day and weather. Great comparisons. Also liked the dusky pic of Jason. What kind of camera do you have Steph? Did Leslee get the same kind? I am shopping and want a good buy....suggestions?
We did eat out everyday so we did get a good feel for the food. The food was good ( a little to fishy for my taste) but I did have clam chowder and fish and chips to be in the spirit of things. We have a cannon powershot A620 and LOVE it. It is very user friendly and great quality. Leslee didn't get the same one as us, I don't know what she has. Our camera has a recent unpdate that is the A640 so I would definately look into that as a choice!!
I checked out the A640 and LOVE IT. They are also offering a $100 rebate if you purchase it with the pixma mp600 all in one printer. The camera would go for $327.83 with free shipping and the printer for $168.99 with free shipping and then you would mail away for $100 back. So total price would be 396.82....what do you think?
I Think that is a GREAT price for 2 great things!! When we bought just the A620 we paid like $320 so I think you are getting a deal to also get a printer. Mom and Dad have a photo printer and we LOVE it, it gets a lot of use around here, and it's very handy for scrapbooking! Let me know what you decide!
Stef, we got the A630. We couldn't find a A640 in person and Lewis didn't want to have to deal with Amazon if something went wrong. He wanted a local retailer that he could go and rant and rave at and say "refund or replace". I will be spending the rest of the evening figuring it out. I am glad I called you, I feel lots better about the rotating thing. We decided against a photo printer as we have been using walmart and like them for quality and price. So for now will continue to have them print what we want. Thanks for all your wonderful advice.
