Hey!

... I'm lost about what you guys just said, but I just got back from Oregon and Washington last night. My dad and I left last saturday to oregon for the Haralsons Family Reunion. The reunion was from Sunday evening - Wednesday morning. We all had a good and enjoyable time. Then, on thursday, my dad, my 18 year old cousin, and I went deep sea fishing. My dad caught 4 salmon (he could only keep two because two of them were the wrong kind), about 8 or 9 rockfish, a little sanddab (had to throw those back), and two hanks (had to throw those back... (this trip was only for rockfish and salmon). My cousin caught one salmon, and about 10 rockfish. I caught: one salmon, about 12 rockfish, one sanddab, and two seagulls!! I caught the seagulls because when we threw the bait in the water they bit the bait, and we reeled them up. One of them the hook just barely got hooked on to its beak, so we got to hold it, and they were soooo fuzzy and soft!! (the seagulls weren't full grown yet though). On friday, my dad and I we went to Pikes Market, Ballard's Salmon Locks, Ivers (for lunch), and to the airport! And now, here we are at home!!!!AZ

Random Items?

No, these are not random items. You put all these items plus a few more together and you get some pretty cute homemade home decor!!

We bought this set a few months ago but just hung it up this week in our living room. So cute!!

The "bling organizer" Jason made me for my birthday. I LOVE it! It is such a cute piece of wall art for our bedroom, plus I love looking at my cute jewelery!

This is an awesome collage of scrapbooking paper and wallpaper. It is really cute. Even though Jarom sleeps in this room I'm still making it cute for Paisley. Maybe one day they will trade and Paisley can get her "purple" room back.

Paisley needs a place for all her cute hair accessories! This will get hung in her room so she can pick which flower she wants to wear each morning.

This is a combined effort of Jason and me. I designed it, Jason did all the math to make it mostly symmetrical. This is how it was painted...

But this is how it is hung. Pretty tricky. As you can see with the blue tape spot, we will be touch up painting our living room walls soon.
And as always here is a very cute boy and a happy helper! He loved handing daddy the hammer!
Paisley is becoming a very good sharer. They like to ride the scooter together! Pretty cute!

Teaser!! Here is the beginning of the next project!

My Dad has died

Just thought I would let you know. He passed late last night. He has been at deaths door so many times I think we got into the habit of always assuming he would rally as in times past. Not this time.

He taught me about God, to pray, and to attend church. He taught me that I was blessed to be an American Citizen and to live in this incredible country. Through his example, I learned to work hard and to serve others. He made the worlds best tuna salad and I will forever be his "pixie".

I love you Daddy!

!!Happy Fourth of July!!

from:
:) :) -->*taryn*<-- (: (:

Happy Birthday and Congrats!

I'm just catching up on the family news. Happy Birthday Stef! I'm glad you enjoyed your day. I love your hair cuts and I think the bling organizer is a very good idea!

Yea, Taryn! Congratulations on your swimming success! I'm glad you have found something you love to do.

The Spencers are doing well. We are going to a fireworks display much later tonight. We had a BBQ yesturday and we have a symphony concert tomorrow, so this has been the most celebrated Fourth in our history!

Our rental house has an offer on it, so we are waiting almost patiently to see if the contract closes. We'll let you know.

We are looking forward to our summer travels. Hopefully, we will see most of you this summer. Love to you all.

Swim Meet Results

Well, in this case instead of a 25 meter pool, it was a 50 meter pool! In a 25 meter pool, a 50 would be two laps, but in this case, because the size doubled, you would only do one lap.

50 Freestyle (two laps, but because size of pool 1 lap):

I got 1st place in my heat, and overall, out of all 15 or 16 heats, with about 7 people in each heat, I placed
16th.

100 Backstroke (four laps, again, because of the size of pool, 2 laps):

I got 4th place. If I went just a little faster even though I was sooo tired, I would've gotten 3rd. Overall, out of all the heats.... I don't know. :O( oh well!...

well, there you go! :O)
