Swim Meet

I have a swim meet on July 3! I am mostly nervous, but a tiny little bit excited. This is my first one in a couple years. I am going to be doing a 100 back (four laps backstroke), and a 50 free (2 laps freestype). I still don't really know how to do the turns for back stroke, so... :S.... i'll let you know how it went.

Birthday Celebration

We had a two day celebration at our house for my birthday. Jason took Friday off so Paisley and I could go get our hair cut together. This is before

This is after. We both cut our hair to our shoulders. I think Paisley looks a lot older with short hair!

Then we made paninis on the George Foreman. It was a lot of fun and very tasty!

The loot! Thanks everyone for the generous gifts! Jason was very clever and made me a necklace and ring holder. That is the frame with chicken wire inside, then I'll hang my rings and necklaces on S hooks. I'm excited to hang it in my bedroom and get all my bling organized!

Presents and Cake

Jarom loves opening presents! He loves his new hippo. It is a scooter and it has some blocks that go with it and it picks them up as he scoots over them.

Here is the cake! I made it during nap time, and it will soon be devoured!! Jarom seemed excited when he saw it. Paisley was very impressed! I thought it turned out great for my first crack and a shaped cake!

SO FAST?!?! Yesterday I was pretty emotional about my baby turning 1! Today we are having a blast! We have been singing Happy Birthday to him all morning and he loves to be sung to! At lunch he gets to open presents! Then tonight he'll get to dig into his firetruck cake! We'll keep post with each new activity! Happy Birthday Jarom you big, big boy!!

School Again!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO SCHOOL IS NOW OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am sooooooo mad and sad. I loved school! Now i have to be an 8th grader. :p . grrr.. i don't want it to be over! Especially because i am not going to have my 7th grade teachers, and my fav. PE teacher is retiring!!! :( talk to you later!

Kendall

I had a nice chat with Kendall tonight. She is having some health issues. They believe she has ulcerative colitis (you can google it). She is in pain when she has an episode and can't eat much (as it causes the pain). She is a real trooper and her attitude is terrific. She is having a colonoscopy and an endoscopy this Friday and I asked if it was alright to share that information with all of you. Please remember her in your prayers. Pray for inspiration on the Doctors behalf, that they can know definitively what is wrong and how to treat it succesfully. Pray that her pain might be relieved. Pray for her continued faith and courage. She inspired me with her strength, courage, and upbeat outlook. Thank you Kendall. Your a blessing to your family and to us. We love you!

School

Well, we have 3 last days of school. So sad! I really like school (well, most of the time). love all my teachers! don't want to go to 8th grade!! grrrr... well, keep posting folks!!
