Bon Voyage Family
Well we are about 19 hours to embarkation, the excitement is mounting! The Lamberts have arrived and so things are crazy. The Lamberts are packed of course since their vacation has already begun, but most everybody else haven't even started yet (uh humm.... Haralsons!) Paisley is completely packed and Jason and I are almost there, now all we do is wait!! The hard part! We will think of you all often and we will probably eat enough food for all of you (maybe I'll do that alone!) Have a super week and Happy Thanksgiving!

Car problems
We are home. We should be in Utah, but it didn't happen. Hope the eagle court was as wonderful as they usually are. Hope Thomas is proud of himself for going the distance. Have a great baptism day McKay. We will be thinking of you. Shelley please post pics of both events on the blog please.
Christmas Flowers
The three stakes out here have a Christmas Creche every year to display people's nativities and get the community involved in the holidays. Because of that we have the opportunity to buy poinsettias for display at the creche and then when it is over we can take them home. Since some of you may not have that opportunity but may still want a poinsettia you can get some Christmas Flowers here. Besides all the lights and decorations I like having that Christmas flower around to help get your in the mood. I thought some of you might be interested in this.
T minus 10 and counting
That's right, if we were a spaceship we would be on the launch pad counting down! 10 days til the big event (sorry for those that aren't coming, I don't want to rub it in). Are there any final preparations we need to be doing Lamberts? You guys are our experts for this trip. Mom and I got our formal dresses last weekend so we are set in that department. I even already have a second occasion to wear my dress- to the L-3 company Christmas party! YAY! Well I hope everyone is as excited as we are!

Happy Birthday Stephen
Happy Birthday Stephen! We hope it was a good one. We heard about all the good food that was being made at your house so hopefully you got to eat some of it! Good luck with all the big events coming up this weekend. We wish we could be there, but we'll be thinking about you. Take pictures so you can blog it later.
Blogitive
There is a new website that I have recently joined. It is an easy way for me to make money. At blogitive.com companies have you write blog posts about their services as a way of advertising for them through your blog and you get paid an average of $5 per post. I always go to the company website and make sure I like it and understand it before I blog about it. Sometimes it is things like the mp3 players I spoke of earlier. Yesterday there was a website for getting hard to find tickets to events at a lower price. You can choose which posts your want to participate in and which ones you don't. So far things are working out great for us. I like being able to do something that isn't very time consuming a make a little extra money. If you have any questions you can click the link or ask me and I'll try to help you.

3 Strikes Your Out!
Tonight Jason and I played MLB Slugfest 2004 for our xbox. Now I will be the first to admit that I am a bad loser but it usually isn't a problem with this game. Jason plays well, but I just always seem to beat him. Tonight though he was doing well and when I mentioned something about using all my turbo boost on my guys at bat he beamed because he didn't know you could do that. Anyway after a couple innings I was back to my old self and we finally quit when the score was 22-3. Another part of the game is called "homerun derby" where you get 10 tries to hit a homerun. There was one time we were playing this and I couldn't win for anything and so I made Jason play it with me like 10 times before I finally won. He is a good sport to always accommodate my need to win. In the picture my team is the horses and Jason's is the minotars.

Busy Saturday
It was a busy day here on Saturday. We started off the morning switching storage units becase our other one got robbed. A lot of nice people from our ward came to help. That was fun. Then we head over to the tire store to get a brand new set of tires on our car. We have had a lot of bad luck with tires and so it was time to start completely over. Our car has a smooth ride now. Then we went to the Valencia mall to go shopping for a nice dress for the formal night on the cruise. We were successful! We ended the day is Jason, David, Layne and I going lazer tagging at Mulligan's. It was so fun after the first game we bought a second. We have been talking of going back with the rest of david's family. We don't usually have such busy days and so we thought we would share, plus we are very excited about our tires!! Thanks for reading!
Christmas List
Lately Jason and I have been looking into getting an mp3 player because of all the vacations we have been and are going on and because our baby loves to dance! We happened upon these cool gadgets . One of the mentioned gadgets are speakers with a built in mp3 player. When the speakers are closed the whole thing is a cylinder but then you pop out the speakers and there you go. Too bad that would probably bug people on an airplane! But for other situations it is awesome! The other gadget is a driverless webcam, you can "plug and play"! We think these are great gift ideas for the electronic junkie on your Christmas list!
We have new runners in the family so to speak
I was informed a few days ago that Stephen and Shelley are doing the Painters Half marathon in January. Woo hoooooooooooooo! Stephen did it before and did very well. This will be Shelleys first time. But the "BIG" news is that they are doing the St George marathon next year too. I have wanted someone else in the family to start marathoning. Now I get two. Can you say excited?!! Goodluck Shelley and Stephen. Train hard and enjoy the journey!

Happy Birthday Martissa
We hope you have a great birthday and that your kids are well behaved for you!! Do you have any fun plans?
Halloween at the Smith's
After 3 trys, I can't get the pictures to post...but here is the narrative.
Nathan wanted to be an Airline Pilot and Mialee was a pretty princess. We had our Ward party on Friday night, then Tuesday I took the kids around my friend's neighborhood for about an hour.
Nathan is getting his lower molars on both sides. That will make for 10 teeth. He has learned to sing one song. This is how we sing it:
Rebecca: If all the raindrops were lemon drops and gum drops, oh what a world it would be. I'd stand outside with my mouth open wide saying...
Nathan: ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
It is so darling.
Mialee thinks we should go trick or treating everynight and she wears her princess dress everyday. :)
